Gurdy Run Merlin is an absolutly stunning 16.2 hand 7 year old Drum Horse Stallion. Born 4/17/02 he is probably the first Drum horse born and bred in the US. He represents some older and unique blood lines in both Shire and Gypsy lineage. At stud Merlin could be used not only for producing Drum Horses but could also produce exceptional "warmbloods" when crossed with Thoroughbreds. Merlin is currently in training and is getting a good solid dressage education. He is a nice mover with and incredibly smooth canter. I expect he will jump quite nicely as I used to Fox Hunt his father. Merlin has a big heart and a sweet personality. With an experienced rider Merlin could really go places and shine!
