Alturas is a dark bay colt with a bold wide stripe and snip down his
face. He is a handsome colt that shows lots of athletic ability. He
is quite modern in his type and should mature to be well over 16HH.
He is housed in a 5 acre pasture with 6 other weanlings in order to grow
naturally. There is a large hill in the pasture that his loves to run up
and down. Alturas is really well balanced and has a super canter.
His attitude is great and he loves people.

His Dam "Duffy" is 16.2HH and has produced many performace horses. Duffy's
sire is an internationally ranked son of FILOU that boasts 2 crosses each
to NOSTRADAMUS xx and RANTZAU xx, as well occurences of IBARAHIM xx and
FRA DIAVOLOxx. The second dam is a grandaughter of FORLI xx in addition to
descending from BOLD RULERxx (by NASRULLA xx) and PRECIPTIC xx (by
PRECIPITATION xx).

Alturas's sire is URYBALDI CH who was imported from Switzerland where he
earned his approval and a place in the Swiss State Stud . URYBALDI was the
CWHBA Alberta Chapter 5/6 year old Jumper Champion in 1995. URYBALDI
boasts the World Class Bloodlines of FURIOSO, ALME Z, and PRECIPITATION.
URYBALDI'S progeny have proven themselves in all three Olympic disiplines.
